Life Under the Tree

They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do. -Psalm 1:3

This week actually started out at home for about 12 hours. On Sunday, I woke up in a bit of wisdom teeth related pain so I took some advil and thought I would be good. A litter later, Dad came to take us to lunch and he said that my mouth looked a little swollen. I took a nap when I got back to my room and then when I woke up it was so much worse. My mom ended up calling the dentist and they wanted to see me as soon as possible. So I ended up driving home on Sunday evening.

Monday morning, I had an 8 o’clock appointment where the dentist thought that he was going to have to open up my mouth but it turned out to be a regular infection and I was out of his office within about 10 minutes. I got to have breakfast with my Mom at Bread Co. and then I headed back to school. I ended up only missing one class (which happens to be the one who video records himself and puts it online).

The rest of this week has been full of rush events for phi lamb and a whirlwind of homework and little sleep. I like all of my classes this semester, except chem 2. They all are going well and I have a weird schedule where I do not have classes on Fridays which sounds good but I actually feel pretty unproductive with nothing to do. Pretty soon I am headed to the gym and then later on I have a meeting to go to. Tonight BYX and Phi Lamb are going bowling so that should be really exciting. I don’t really have plans this weekend but relaxing and maybe looking at places to live next year!! WOO!
